Basic Explanation of Fees:

The following fees apply to auction/app shopping depending on the platform:

5% of auction closing price or 500 yen, whichever is greater (my commission)
- Commission is charged per auction/app listing .
Domestic Shipping
- Determined by the seller.
- Generally 150-1500 Yen depending on size. Sometimes free.
ATM Fee
- Always $5 for every $500 (USD) spent.
- This fee is only paid once, not per listing.
Payment Processing Fee
- between 4%-6% depending on your country of residence.
Platform Specific Fees
- MBOK Payment fee: Only for MBOK auctions, usually under 300 yen.
- Bank Transfer Fee: In rare cases, applied to Yahoo Auctions, 216-432 yen. In nearly all cases, this fee is waived (0 yen).
- Rakuma-Fril and Mercari Payment fee: 100 yen per listing. (calculator cannot currently add this in)
International Shipping (Not Shown in Estimate!)
- I offer 3 kinds of shipping.

IMPORTANT: This calculator will show you an estimate of the cost of a single listing! If you have multiple listings, you must add each listing’s estimate up to get a total. However, the calculator adds the $5 ATM fee each time although it is a one time fee per $500 spent. You will need to deduct $5 from the estimate of every listing but the first if trying to get an estimate for multiple auction/app listings.
